Its a nice sattelite set. I have em myself, works great for the price. Plus it doesn't break the bank. Its a really nice set.

do you use them for hi-def audio... pcm etc. i was going to pair these possibly with the onkyo 605

Don't have these Polk but was considering them when I was shopping for speakers. Here are my opinion for what it's worth.

1. Polk RM6750 - tested at CC since they had it hooked up to Onkyo TX-SR605. I notice I had to turn up the receiver quite a bit to get a decent sound out of these speakers. Center channel seem kinda weak.

2. Boston Acoustics MCS100 - also tested at CC great Center Channel but the audio sound kinda washy. Not a clear distinctions in sound.

3. Klipsch Quintet III - tested at BB too bright for me, the high are very pronounce.

I ended up with Definitive Technology Pro Cinema 600. Although it's quite a bit more than the Polk, the sound is amazing. Went to a Magnolia Home Theater and they were playing a Gone in 60 Seconds on Blu-Ray and I just was blown away by the quality of the sound produce by this unit.

I spent more than what I was budgeting for but considering I'll be using these for a while paired with my 605, I am very happy with this purchase.

As they say listen to the speakers yourself as what you hear can differ from another person.
