Default Hellboy 2 universal now?

the first hellboy was made by sony. why is the second movie at universal studios now? hopefully the war will be over by the time this movie is released..but just incase...

There was a post prior about this also. But if I remember correctly it had to do with Sony dont see Hellboy 2 being profitable as 1st one did not do well in theatres but had decent DVD sales... But compare to the amount spend making the movie plus advertisment etc, Sony just felt it wasnt worth it... Correct me if Im wrong plz

You remembered correctly. I was upset about this, but it looks like Universal is putting more money into it...I just hope Universal comes to BD this year!

I actually thought it looked awesome(second one that is). When I saw the trailer in theatre, I thought it was going to be another Del Toro masterpiece because the style was just like Pan's Labrynth, then all of a sudden.........Hellboy appears.lol

Seriously though, this second one looks like it might be really cool.
