Not sure if this is the right place to ask but

This was announced a year ago and Massacre Video stated the progress was slowing down due covid.

Anyone heard any news/update on this?

This is something that I would love to hear also, probably more than anything else at this point. Seriously, what in the name of Jesus is taking so long with this?! Are they doing parts 2 and 3 too like hinted while ago?

The image in the OP seems to be the UHD release.

^ I do hope that those will be included 1080p discs also for all of us living in 2K households.

I wasn't aware parts 2 and 3 were on the table. I wonder if everything is offered as stand alone or if this will be a box set.

I believe those 3 are just blu-rays. The photo in the OP is the UHD edition of the first film.

Just basing all this on the logos of the spines. So assuming the 3 will be blu-rays, and only the first film will get a separate UHD release.

This still hasn't been released lol, is it common for Massacre video to take so long with their releases? Seems like the way to go is the Panorama release

It was over a year, maybe two from them announcing Video Nasty Forest of Fear aka Toxic Zombies to a release. But they did a cracking job with it.

yeah but they were saying MBTS pre order would hit store in next month and that was months ago. so either there was problems with the master that they need to fix or they were not being realistic

Lol it's nothing like that, come on. They've said previously they're just doing a new scan on mbts because they were unsatisfied with what they had.

Heard this through the grapevine a month ago, don't quote me on this, but allegedly the rights holder to this film wasn't happy with Massacre Video's transfer of the film.

This is completely in limbo.

What? I thought the issue was a packaging printing delay

I want my money back if there’s going to be a longer delay. We’ve waited long enough

first was a 4k announcement, then the news that it was canceled and was changed to a normal bluray release and now this. were never gonna get this release are we.
