Italy La gabbia (Laura Antonelli)
Been reading up on this neat little film with the delightful Ms. Antonelli, La gabbia (AKA
[Show spoiler]Collector's Item (US DVD) AKA Dead Fright (US VHS) AKA The Trap (UK)
) (1985) appears to be like an Italian version of Fatal Attraction, but sleazier and antecedent. It appears X-rated Kult gave this a less than flattering English-friendly release in 2008, to accompany a now-OOP fullscreen UK DVD and a possibly grey-market US DVD, both of which appear to have only an English DUB track. There is an informative thread at Lovelockandload (may be NSFW).

The Italians have recently re-released the film through Medusa, and it is now apparently in anamorphic widescreen, but not English-friendly.
