![]() ![]() FAILimation in their infinite wisdom has only a stereo Japanese audio track despite the fact the film was native 5.1 and was presented in 5.1 even in theaters here. This is what they get for releasing it so soon after the Japanese BD- gimped quality. |

Funimation strikes again. No surprise there.

Also Aniplex series have quite a few Dubs in their series. |

Not to mention Aniplex cockblocks all their legacy properties. They're the reason we'll never get a Rurouni Kenshin box set ever again. |

Could be a misprint. My copy of The Dragon Dentist was labelled with 5.1 JP and EN audio and it was 2.0 for both tracks. Speaking of goofs, My order of the Code Geass box set has the old prints with the mono audio. Would I be able to get replacement discs?

Probably. Just email FUNi and see what happens.

Yup. It's a well-known enough issue that both Funi and TSRI (if you ordered from them) will replace the discs. Feel free to shoot them an email.

I did, they confirmed it was final specs. I bloody hope they read my email wrong, but I guess that's it....
I just heard the other day in a podcast with a guy who works on these sort of titles something along the lines of "give a collector a reason to not buy your release and they'll make sure not to". Welp, here's my reason. ![]() |

I hope the audio isn’t 2.0. If you look at the movie on Funimation and scroll down, in the main feature section it says Japanese TrueHD 5.1. |
