UK releases are usually on a Monday.

UK summer time change is on Sunday March 27

Winter/Summer time changes has nothing to do with DVD/Blu-ray/UHD UK release dates

Home Media DVD/Blu-ray/UHD releases in UK is always on a Monday

My guess would be that they can't release it on the previous Monday because that's still within the 45-day window, and the following Monday is Easter Monday so there would be no deliveries that day.

There has been lots of releases in UK over the years that had a release date that was on Monday public holiday
It does not affect releases

Delivery date for online orders is a different thing to release date
High Street music/video shops are open on Monday public holidays

There is lots of other dvd/blu-ray releases in UK on Monday April 18th

The release date will very likely be changed so its a Monday release date as usual

That's really nice...but my OCD won't allow me to order it without a Murder on the Orient Express steelbook to match. I wonder if there are any plans for Best Buy to have a steel set for the pair of films like the Kingsman Trilogy? Guess we'll get an announcement one way or another in the next day or two.

2 different steelbooks were released. The first one was released on March 12, 2018 in the UK by Zavvi and it has Kenneth Branagh on the front. It was released in other European countries as well. The second steelbook was released on November 6th, 2019 in Europe and it matches this one with the coloured smoke.

Of course, This Zavvi steelbook doesn't match the first Zavvi steelbook.

Back before COVID I picked up a whole line of German blu-ray steelbooks for about 10 euros each total, with shipping. Murder on the Orient Express was one of the films (the other were The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, Three Billboards, and I think there might have been another one but I can't remember right this second).

The artwork really matches perfectly. Unfortunately, though, that whole line has the spine reversed like on French steelbooks. It's not a big deal to me, but it would have otherwise been a perfect match.

Have to wait and see if Best Buy gets this. They didn't get The Last Duel but they did get Nightmare Alley. The Kingsman they got in a box set. All 4 are Fox/Disney releases.

I don't think there will be a North American release for a Death On The Nle steelbook.

The release date for the standard release is April 5th and it's already available for pre-order.

With just over 2 weeks to release date I think it's too late to announce one now.

I just realized that Disney US has been putting the UHD Blu-ray logo on their SteelBooks, but Disney UK has not. My UK Soul 4K UHD SteelBook only has a Blu-ray logo, and that's exactly what Death on the Nile has in the mock-ups, too.

Stuff like this drives me up the wall, especially when the UK SteelBooks are more expensive than the US ones. The proper format logo should always be on the spine, particularly when I'm paying more for the best possible format.
