I wanted to see this but got put off by the really bad reviews. I'll give it a rental though.

Word has it, that this is another 1080i/50hz release from Momentum, ala The King's Speech.

Sheesh!

Seems to be that any new momentum release thats 12.99 seems to be 1080i

Where as The Fighter which is 1080p is full price.

So if anyone interested in Limitless, Insidious and season of the witch mite wana watch out.

This really hacks me off! I'm sure not buying SEASON OF THE WITCH now and the US version is region locked! Like the previous poster I urge you all to go to their Facebook page and post your complaints.
Wonder if the Australian version due this month will be ok?

It should be, but Australia has its own problems, with studios cropping a few titles.

We'll know soon enough.

Looks like the comments on the FB page are gaining some Momentum (duh)

Some comments have been deleted, One in particular comes to mind which asked 'WHAT THE F**k ARE YOU PLAYING AT' lol

Be nice folks, They might actually listen

And then again we might have more chance of seeing the Queens t*ts!

As per my other comments on related posts...Season of the Witch is definitely 1080i and is because they seemingly purchased a master which was encoded like that. I think they are realising their own goal because they are definitely releasing Insidious and Limitless in 1080p

1080i. What the hell is going on with Momentum. Are they total idiots on that company no studio does 1080i anymore, This is an outrage that Momentum are releasing 1080i still

I have to agree, I bought it despite its terrible reviews, due to the lenticular slipcase and the picture quality is excellent, so being 1080i isn't noticeable.

Has a strange short white line briefly appear to the bottom left of screen, shortly after Cage's sword is discovered. Banding clearly visible when the torch-carrying troupe enters the misty forest, and it is 1080i. But yes, a nice lenticular cover does wrap around the case. Ended up with a UK copy and will keep it, not a good enough movie to upgrade. One thing's for sure...in terms of the film itself...it sure as hell ain't no Solomon Kane.

I bought this recently, I have seen soloman Kane, but was not overly impressed, I guess that means I will be overly dissapointed by this one then
