I'll probably pick up the Itunes digital for now as its in 4K Dolby Vision Dolby Atmos and wait for the eventual 4K disc release down the line.

yeah no 4K, it only made 161 million off of an 18 million budget.

I was thinking the same thing but I noticed Blumhouse movies distributed by Universal only received a blu ray release. I think Blumhouse license them to boutique labels later on like Ouija, Freaky and Happy Death Day to you. but no idea why Violent Night is not on 4k.

i'm about to post the same thing, for a sec i saw black banner and thought it was 4K... well but as it's doing really great on box office, Universal might just release 4K down the line like they did with many films...

Why no 4K on disc? They used to release alot of small new titles on disc and now they're like the worst studio when it comes to new releases.

I'm not sure why, but Universal has been putting that on all of their recent releases. It almost feels like their way of saying "Ah, people who still buy physical media are collectors, so therefore EVERY release is a collector's edition!"
