Five years after Maj. Scott McCoy (Chuck Norris) resigned from the U.S. Delta Force due to bureaucracy issues, he returns with Col. Alexander (Lee Marvin) to take down Lebanese terrorists who have hijacked a Boeing 707. Terrorist leader Abdul Rifi (Robert Forster) takes the crew and passengers hostage as he reroutes the plane to Beirut. When McCoy and Alexander attempt to save the hostages once the plane lands, they are forced to battle a terrorist group that's larger than expected.

The film is the most important element of any release for me, but a few extras wouldn’t have gone amiss.

You already have the Arrow Blu-ray which is the best there is for extras. Why not just hang on to it?

I’ll be hanging onto the Arrow release, but always a shame when we see barebones releases. New extras as an accompaniment to older ones are also always welcome on any new release.

This movie really scared me as a little kid, perhaps because we flew a lot when I was growing up. This movie was on TBS all the time, along with Bloodsport, back in the day. Don't think I've watched it in decades despite having two editions on blu.

The lack of extras sucks. I just hope the 2.0 track isn't a downmix of the 5.1.

Heck yeah both Invasion U.S.A., and The Delta Force in 4K UHD in the same year this is amazing and just so cool. Hopefully we get Hellbound, and The Hitman on Blu-Ray this year or next year, and also The Delta Force 2 in 4K UHD too I freaking love Delta Force 2 The Colombian Connection so we need that and the other two titles next. The old Blu-Ray from Kino isn’t too pricy for the second Delta Force movie, but I wouldn’t mind a re-release and also a 4K UHD.

So, is it possible this is a lot like previous shout releases where they will unveil the extras at a later date? Because if it's barebone i'll just keep my scorpion release, it has the original art anyway and also a great transfer. I'll upgrade if it's worth it and they at least put the Scorpion extras but if not, no biggie. I love the movie to death but it's Chuck, I really don't need it to look pristine. :P

The ending when the entire army of bad guys stop in the middle of the road and Robert Forster asks one of his goon why they are stopping and we see Chuck on his super bike waiting for them and he says it's just one guy, why are we stopping? And then Chuck goes on to pretty much murder them all. Good God, makes me weep everytime haha. What a film!

Usually it'll say Extras in Progress if more stuff will be added. There are occasions where the site doesn't list everything though. I think at least one of the Shaw releases was like that, where online it didn't mention some extras, but the release had them.
