Agreed, even though nothing official is announced by Disney yet i don't see this being released in theaters on September 18th.
This will get delayed again as will many other films in the coming months....2020 is dead when it comes to big movies being released in theaters.

Me too, especially since we have the first two on 4K.

I absolutely loved the movie BTW. It actually made my Top 10 of 2021.

I’ll be blind buying it but Gemma Arterton is in it so chances are I’ll love it based on her inclusion. Plus, I love the first two.

Was wondering if this 4K release would get cancelled based on the box office performance.

But if it’s coming in Feb, the disc was probably created and sent to the replication house months back and the Mouse is likely just sitting on the discs.

Yeah, like with Last Duel I think the discs were ready to go, no point in throwing away more money by dumping them.

I found the answer and posted in the movie section. This will be shared between HBO Max and Hulu on February 18th.

Disney made a deal with HBO to share films with Disney+ starting with Ron’s Gone Wrong. They also negotiated to include Hulu in the deal, The King’s Man is the first film under the HBO Max and Hulu deal.

Why would it mean that? Eventually all movies go to streaming regardless if they have a release or not.

Lucy in the Sky does not have a Blu-ray, 4K, or even DVD release, it went straight to streaming on demand and is only available streaming on demand.

In another time and place Kings Man would've been a "bomb" too. Brought in less than $100 mil worldwide, less than 1/4 of the revenue of both predecessors.

His fear was that Disney cancelled the physical release in favor of a streaming only option like the movie I mentioned. There are also a few movies that are not available to stream but at least a DVD is out there.
