The trailer made me think this is a live action Titan A.E. Very similar plot elements. Not a complaint, my brain just went there. Looks good enough to buy a pair of recliner seats at ye old IMAX.

I saw the Dolby Atmos trailer at the Odeon in London and it sounded great.
Not sure if the trailer was in Dolby Vision but it also looked very good.

I know that Dolby uses and creates it's own DCP's for it's system, is the standard mass-release DCP also 4K ?

Just came back from seeing this and i enjoyed it.....it has some nice shots which would look amazing in 4K.
Also the Atmos track was very active in some scenes so i will buy this when released on 4K disc.

LFE in Laser IMAX was crazy, hope they don’t Atmouse it. Movie looks good but I noticed tons of shots where faces were soft/out of focus. I predict people will think it’s DNR on the UHD transfer lol. I’ll buy the movie but probably not day one.

that's what I'm worried about with the Fox/Disney merger that Disney will muck it all up and start enacting their f**king around with the home video 'audio' tweaking.

While this is indeed true you can see inherent grain from the source. Something shot digital will not reflect that natural grain, it's either absent or artificially added.
