This is a thread dedicated to listing titles you want licensed by any anime distributor. You can mention any distributor specifically or not, but this thread is here so as to not fill up entire threads with wishlists that sadly might not get anywhere. As a result, by doing it in one thread it will make things much easier.

ROD already had a North American complete blu-ray release from Aniplex, but it is OOP now.

Yeah, I missed out on that. I thought it was some kind of super-rare edition and I figure it's way out of reach at this point.

It's also incredibly hard to find/come by on eBay as well. I've been trying to acquire the series in Brand New condition, but it's either too expensive when I find it or it's in Used condition. I gave up collecting the individual volumes on DVD...

I will second Demon City Shinjuku and Wicked City... I didn't mention them only because Discotek has pretty good looking DVD's out, and I think the Japanese box sets have English subs and the dub. But yes, those too.

And Planetes is a FANTASTIC show. I was lucky enough to snag one of the last ones from RS back about 7 or 8 years ago, but it should be relicensed and released so more people can see it. It's wonderful.

Man, I still have the 2000 DVD for Wicked City and there's quite a bit of room for improvement. Didn't realize it had a rerelease.

I'd import the Japanese BDs if they weren't so expensive. I might suck it up one day and just go for it (or get the Discotek DVDs).

I also still have the old 2000 DVD (I believe it was put out by Urban Vision?) and the new Discotek DVD looks night and day better in comparison. There's still plenty they could do to clean it up further, but in comparison to the original DVD release, it's not bad at all.

This site list an American BD release for both Wicked City and Demon City, might not mean anything though.

Some people post those listings as a placeholder. Some put those listings like if a company plans a Blu-ray release but gets cancelled for whatever reason. I’ve even seen seperate movie listings with movies that are only released as a Double, Triple, etc. Feature.

Mahoraba: Heartful Days would be nice. It would be a good fit for Discotek, as it's along the same lines as Manabi Straight.
