So excited for this! It's a blind buy for me (at least, I'm 99% sure that I've never seen it, despite my having had the USA Network at the time, and loving many made-for-TV horror movies throughout my life!), but with that cast, and that director, it almost has to be a winner!

It’s pretty good, but not one of Jennifer Jason Leighs best performances though.

Glad to have it coming though.

No, not her best but that's because there's no real heavy lifting here. I still find it a little odd that she even popped up in this - maybe she just thought it would be fun, which it is. Either way, like anything she's in, the production is better for it. Can't wait to watch it on BD!

Good point. The sheriff in many ways is the most reliable character in the movie, and it is the relationship of he and Tim Matheson’s character that carries of most the emotional weight of the material.

Matheson and Leigh had no chemistry. Everything feels rushed and underdeveloped when they’re both on screen.

This was a busy point in her career and it feels like something she did more for the money. It’s like she popped in just to get more movie credits and with probably not many working days required.

Still, it works well enough despite some shortcomings.

Terrific news! Hoping they will release Buried Alive 2, and the Fred Walton thriller 'Trapped' starring Kathleen Quinlan which was another USA thriller and a damn good one.

I would love a release of this movie. I remember watching it on TV as a kid in the early 2000s. I remember the ending quite vividly.
