The Best Actress race seems down to these two. Regardless if you prefer another performance of the year, which do you prefer between Blanchett and Yeoh?

I love Yeoh and the attention she’s getting (even when not being crazy about EEAAO itself), but I choose Blanchett here. It was such a precise and transformative performance.

I loved both but I think Cate's Lydia Tár will go down in history as one of the best female performances of all time.

That being said, I would be very pleased if we could get a tie for the Oscar. They're far more evenly matched than Hepburn and Streisand were.

They both gave the right performance for the films they were in. I think 'Tár' was the trickier tightrope to walk.
