This was previously released as a Twilight Time disc before being reissued as a MOD release. Did anyone here upgrade their previous copies? This one has more bonus features (though it’s missing the isolated score).

My mother really loved this film. I thought it was an amusing joke on NewsRadio (the episode where Bill quits smoking) but waited 'til around 2013 to watch it on Netflix. (Streaming.)

I'd only be interested in buying if it had been part of a Mill Creek type set, though I'd prefer Sony's quality, and realize on Blu that's just not a thing because of cost.

I just think life is getting a lot shorter these days and this movie... I certainly think we need to see Blu start becoming one of those things where we get Mill Creek type 8-movie sets but with Sony's quality. Not a hand-me-down looking situation which I think happened with that beach / summer / 80's sex comedy boxset.

I think VUDU has this for $3.99 to buy on HDX this weekend.

Due to the high price of these MOD releases, I'm just going with that.

This is definitely a must watch at Easter time. The story begins on the Saturday before Easter where the town is preparing for Easter Sunday among other things, and the story ends on an Easter Sunday years later. Celebrations of life and new beginnings.

I own both the Twilight and Sony blu rays as well as the digital version on Apple. I prefer the digital version. All three have the glitched scene with Shirley and Olympia sitting together near the end.
