If you liked Flying Swords of Dragon Gate 3D you might want to check out this movie.
The Resurrection Painted Skin Trailer: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/rev...hillips-338550 http://www.filmjournal.com/filmjourn...8889c793d6282d http://threeleggedblog.com/2012/12/0...surrection-3d/ The last review mentions more about the 3d. ![]() The cheapest place I could find it is here: http://www.ioffer.com/i/the-resurrec...-ray-527430620 After some bargaining I was able to get it for $18 total. Now I'm just waiting for the delivery. I've bought from ioffer before with no problems. Just make sure to check out the sellers reviews and how long they have been operating. It was converted into 3D not shot. It was delayed early this year for three months so it could be converted. It was a cheap rush job conversion and got bad reviews in China. The Director didn't like the 3D as far as I know. People were comparing the 3D to The Last Airbender.
The ioffer link is a bootleg. Last edited by Rainhurt; 12-18-2012 at 12:07 AM. |

I found links for this title on Blu-ray.com to a couple of overseas Amazon sites. Has anyone here heard of it or seen it? Sounds pretty good if the 3D holds up.

Thanks, Tigermoth. That's disappointing to hear, guess I'll give it a pass.

By "the first film" do you mean Painted Skin from 2008?

![]() ![]() Before I begin, I know the general consensus is the 3D presentation in this movie has problems... Anyways, I picked up the Australian release a couple months back, and it was surprisingly delivered brand new, sealed. Anyone familiar with both the HK and AU releases willing to offer their opinion? Does this AU release offer any advantages over the HK release in picture quality or audio? If the AU offers some benefits, I'll keep it. But if it's identical, I'm reluctant to break the seal and may find it a new home... Thanks Last edited by jchung30; 06-01-2024 at 10:41 PM. Reason: typos |

The great first movie actually has a German 3D disc. Unfortunately, it's probably an autoconversion as the 3D is essentially non-existent throughout the film. Not a single scene that I could see where any depth was added.
