MVD will be doing a brand new release of Ghoulies (1985) on Blu-ray and 4K on September 12th. Both are sourced from a new 2023 restoration. The new Collector's Edition Blu-ray comes with a slipcover, and a mini-poster.

I've been content with the Umbrella release that includes the sequel and some alternate TV cuts. My main interest in the film is actually the score (some of it is tracked, but the great Shirley Walker worked with Band on the original bits, which are terrific). But I look forward to seeing screencaps of this new restoration to see how they compare!
