That's what I was thinking. When his name popped up in the title, I was like "Eh?" I hope to see the same thing for Quentin Tarantino within the next decade after The Movie Critic comes out.

Oh I'm not complaining. Logan Lucky validated his return to movies on its own (and I also quite like No Sudden Move). I just get a giggle out of the fact that he ever tried to pretend he was retiring.

And I agree with your characterisation of Tarantino's intentions as 'wussing out', but I don't believe for a second that he'll actually stick to it. He'll probably take a break, then just like Soderbergh, he'll come back for the right project and get stuck back in. He's already got that TV series in the pipeline, so his heart's clearly not in quitting.
