The price will absolutely drop by release date. This is typical of most Amazon pre-orders... High price initially, but always drops as release date approaches.

Just saw this in Dolby Cinema. It was my first time seeing an animated film in DC and it was certainly a feast for the eyes. Should make a really nice looking disc. Thought the movie was pretty bad, though, even with my kids movie goggles on.

Oh I love Dolby Cinema. I have yet to see an animated film yet though in it, so I may have to just because. I'll go in with low expectations for the film haha

I highly recommend it.

My son isn't quite old enough to go to the theater so this was somewhat of a reconnaissance mission to see what a kid's film experience is like in Dolby Cinema. I'm curious to see how he'll respond to how loud it is, but we've been turning the volume up at home when watching stuff so hopefully he'll be acclimated. I'll be making a point to see as many animated films as I can now in DC cause it looked wonderful.

I'll probably wait and buy this next Christmas for $14.99 during a BF sale.

Do yourself a favor and get these for your son. My son is sensitive to loud noise and these have worked really well for taking him to the movies.

This was a fun way to kick off the christmas season

Grinch was lots of fun, and it should look amazing in 4k!

Thanks, that’s a great suggestion. Not sure if we’ll need them but I’ll definitely get some just in case.

Will check this out, however was not a fan of the last Grinch movie. But I love all rest of the Dr. Seuss cartoons so I may like the new Grinch too.

My wife and daughter saw this on their day off recently, and they both really enjoyed it! That’s saying a lot because neither my wife nor daughter enjoyed either of the earlier Grinch movies.

Hmmmmn, that could be a bad sign... if they didn't like the 1966 original.

Well, my wife just isn’t into older programs. My daughter thought both earlier versions were too scary. Apparently this one isn’t “scary.”
