United Kingdom See No Evil (Blind Terror - Richard Fleischer - 1971)

I picked this up in the Powerhouse sale for just £7. Surprised to see no dedicated thread.

A good little thriller, quite typical of its time. Reminiscent of the Hammer thrillers of the era, like Fear in the Night.

Good transfer, good sound, good extras.

Just one question. This was long-thought to have just been re-titled Blind Terror for the UK. But examination of the sources revealed several small differences. The odd thing is that none is large, or major. No change to the plot. No change to the mood. No added characterisation. Just a few different shots.

Why on earth did they bother? I don't mean this disc, I'm happy to see it all. But why did they bother making two cuts back in '71?
