One man’s rubbish…

I like how different Exorcist II is. I didn’t always, I used to say the trailer was the only bit of the movie I could enjoy. I appreciate it more now I’m older. It doesn’t all work but I see what Boorman was trying to do. It deserves reappraisal as at least it’s an interesting attempt. It’s far from the second worst movie ever made according to one book!

Shame it’s not 4K like III but I’ve never had any edition of II other than the one in the Warner box set so will appreciate the extras.

This will have Shout's transfer. What might be different is that the encode might be a David M. FiM one.

And that’s often a big difference.

The SF release actually just has the film on its own 4K disc, while all of the extras are on a second BD.Probably won't make a difference, if FiM are encoding this. The SF release has got a great looking transfer in any event, so I wouldn't be too upset about picking htat one up.

That's just it: even tho most everything's been crammed onto the one disc it'll STILL have a more nuanced encode, providing that this is a Fidelity joint.

I’m sure the Shout! disc is solid tho an FiM encode can make a difference even if it’s marginal.

Additionally since this is coming from Arrow, their exclusive extras will be there.
