Default The Bees (1978) / Demonoid (1981) / Raw Force (1982)

DEMONOID, RAW FORCE, THE BEES:

* The folks at VinSyn have stated that The Bees might only be a DVD release. So it's inclusion on the blu-ray forum may be a bit premature, but its still possible. The other two titles will certainly be DVD / BD Combo Packs, reportedly in solo releases.

I've seen The Bees, really remember liking it. Hopefully it's released on blu-ray, really excited for the other two (which were 100% specified to be blu) as well.

HOLY SHIT THE BEES!

My mind was so blown when I watched that on Youtube unassumingly about 2 years ago. Each scene and plot development was crazier than the one that came before it.

That Demonoid poster is incredible - please tell me they'll be using original art for these covers! I watched the VHS last month, but I'm fuzzy on the details, other than that a demon possesses an (eventually severed) hand. Here is the Bleeding Skull review.

I've seen The Bees, it's ok.

Saw Demonoid, it's awful, basically a severed hand on the loose. Don't let the demon on the poster fool you.

Never saw Raw Force, and safe to say, I won't see it now.

No sale on any of these for me.

Wow. What a surprise announcement. Exciting. I've been waiting for THE BEES for about 30 years now! It was never released on DVD. It would be completely wonderful if we get a Blu of it! Here's hoping. I'd certainly buy a copy, and probably two to support Vinegar Syndrome.

The other two films I've never seen, but I look forward to supporting their release in 1080p with my wallet.

Hoping the transfers / encodes are stellar on all three titles.

I'm still crossing my fingers that The Bees will also be release on blu-ray, the fate of that one being DVD only is still up in the air though, so here's still a litte hope.

Demonoid and Raw Force shouldn't be the only ones getting the BD treatment. Especially if you're judging them on quality.

I can finally retire my Demonoid "DVD". I know it's bad, but I love that movie. I can't wait to check these out!

Define "bad". Is it "Unhinged" bad? I hated Unhinged because of the piss-poor acting and endless scenes of people driving around and talking. I like bad movies, as long as they're competently made and fairly well acted. If they look like someone's school project I'll usually pass

Default Martial arts film RAW FORCE coming to Blu-ray!

Coming in October...

Vinegar Syndrome has just announced (more info) that they will be releasing a Blu-ray/DVD combo for the 1982 cult classic, Raw Force (aka Kung Fu Cannibals or Shogun Island), a U.S./Filipino martial arts action film directed by Edward D. Murphy (Heated Vengeance) and starring John Dresden (Final Mission), Cameron Mitchell (Silent Scream) and Camille Keaton (I Spit on Your Grave).

Don't miss the

Anyone looking to sell their Slipcover for Raw Force? I'm interested if you have one for sale.

I watched Raw Force yesterday, first time. A fun ride to say the least. I'm not sure which release is the best, but I got the UK one. Which worked fine - Top Gun: Maverick it's not.
