I welcome my Marvel Cinematic Universe 4k overlords.

My wife bought the first 14 on DVD as individual releases but I've bought the UHD for the last two, Guardians 2 and Spider-man.

Gonna wait for Zavvi to announce the steelbook. Gone all steelbooks for Marvel in 4K so far (Guardians, Spider-Man, Thor) so I'm not going to stop now.

This movie looks like it was made to be HDR demo material.

Movie looks like a lot of fun and reviews are sounding hyped.

After watching the trailers in 4k on Youtube on my Tv, this was always going to be a day one purchase.

I'll get the 3D steelbook over the 4K for the expanded IMAX sequences. But for those that aren't 3D capable I'm certain this will look amazing in 4K.

What do I type in when I'm on youtube app on my 4K tv to see the trailer in 4K?

The trailer hasn't been released in 4K. You can find it with the uncompressed 5.1 track but not 4K video.

Nearly every "4K" trailer on YouTube isn't 4K but an HD upscale. Very few exceptions.

Day one but I'll most definitely getting the Best Buy steelbook and the possibility for artwork on that is tremendous.

Just type in "4K Movie Trailers", or search specifically for the trailer you want and add "4k" to the end and you'll get a lot of options.

Obviously they aren't HDR or "true" 4k, etc. but they can give a good idea of how it will look. Heck, my blurays are upconverted and those look pretty great 99% of the time. I have checked and they do actually display in 4k on the TV.

Once in a while you'll run into a poorly converted 4K trailer, but most of them look great. If you are watching trailers on your TV, viewing the 4K version usually results in a much more pleasing image.

EDIT: Your player must have the YouTube app version that allows 4K playback. I would think most 4K players have it, but that is just an assumption. Play the 4K version and just check your display info to ensure it is actually playing in 4K.

I recently saw the 3D trailer on an IMAX laser system - and holy crap!!! My jaw was on the floor - UK 3D edition, yes please!
