Extremely popular, at the time. Why has this not been considered for a blu-ray release? Does anyone know why please? Less popular TV shows have had blu-ray upgrades...

Have done a forum thread search and among the threads in the search results to do with the original seventies TV series, I picked this thread to post in. A day late this, but in the daily newspaper I read, I noticed among the celebrity birthdays was David Soul. He turned 80 yesterday (Monday).
I sampled some episodes of the original TV series from a repeat run on one of Sony's UK TV channels a few years ago. I would consider revisiting the series if it had a Blu-ray release (I remember seeing a complete series DVD boxset in my local HMV some time ago). I preferred the earlier episodes that I saw. I didn't quite get the episodes where it felt like the comedy was taking over (just my opinion). Earlier this year, on one of the random editions of a UK music programme that was repeated, was a music video clip for one of the music singles David Soul had a hit with. |
