Maybe its release will prompt a Optimum re-release of Escape from New York, if they still own the rights. Their first release was pretty dire.

I thought the UK release did go OOP quickly but has never made much on resale.

I bought the US release from Paramount which was identical disc very cheaply years ago. It’s region free so that and other region free international releases may explain why this has never been valuable in UK resale as plenty of cheap alternatives available.

Deal breaker I'm afraid.

Just an observation, thought it was just for the US market only but seems to be across the board. I'm just glad we are getting a 4K release and Paramount are upping their output.

I usually don't do this, but £35 / £34.99 for a poster, artcards and a booklet is pretty egregious, especially when, according to the language package specified in the Zavvi listing, the included Blu-ray appears to be the same disc from over a decade ago. £25 / £24.99 would be reasonable. The 4K UHD for Scream was £20 / £19.99 and while it lacked tat, it came with a remastered Blu-ray and a nice slipcover, so this one seems like highway robbery in comparison.

I maybe wrong, but I remember reading somewhere a while back that UK movie posters/art cannot feature a gun pointed at the viewer.
