UFO Sweden, in cinemas december 25, will apparently get the 4K UHD treatment. This will be the first Swedish movie to get an 4K UHD release in Sweden/Scandinavia.

I agree, it is very exciting. It may not seem like a big deal, but to finally get a new Swedish movie on 4K Ultra HD is a very pleasant surprise, and a big win for physical media in the Nordics. Hopefully it is also an indication of the quality of the film and that they are confident that it will be a success.

Looking at the trailer, I have a feeling it could look great in 4K HDR.

I’m not sure that the specifications listed are 100% correct. Hopefully they will be smart and include English subtitles together with the Nordic ones.
