And yet we still don't have Antz, The Prince Of Egypt, Chicken Run and The Road To El Dorado.

Nice, we should be getting Prince of Egypt and Antz around the same time or soon after.
I also want Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas |

Assuming the rights revert to Universal as soon as this year ends, I predict that they will release Antz and Prince by the end of next year. It's just speculation based on Universal's catalog release pattern (releasing movies decades later without labelling them as anniversary editions), but I can dream.

Seriously where are the non-CGI Dreamworks movies?
Every time there is a thread about Dreamworks movies people bring up Prince of Egypt, El Dorado and Chicken Run. I go on other online forums and those are the only Dreamworks movies that adults ever want to talk about. Are they unaware of the demand to own these films on Blu-ray? Who was really asking for Shark Tale on Blu-ray? Little kids want to see the new animated movies like Despicable Me 3, not some 15 year old film with outdated pop culture references. On the other hand, The Prince of Egypt is a beautiful, timeless film, many people's favorite depiction of Moses on screen, why are they so resistant to make it available to buy? Let's hope Universal knows. They've been good about bringing Don Bluth to blu-ray... |
