I didn't notice this before, but you can now purchase all 5 seasons of Miami Vice on iTunes, Prime, Vudu, etc., but there's a quirk: Season 1 is ONLY in SD, and episode 21 (Evan) is unavailable to purchase everywhere. Was there something controversial about this episode? Music clearance issues? And why only SD, when the other 4 season are available in HD?

My guess is that Evan isn't there because of clearance rights for Peter Gabriel's "Biko." Tubi doesn't even have it.
A shame as it's a great episode. |
