Fire Country (CBS)

Have done a thread search and there doesn't appear to be an existing thread for the CBS drama series Fire Country.

The new, second season is starting in the States next month. I read recently that Sky Witness have acquired the show for UK TV, starting on Wednesday 24th January (source of UK TV start date information: Geektown).

I've found it decent enough, a little soapy but entertaining nonetheless; 3.6/5 stars.

[Show spoiler]But I do lament Max Theriot as Clay Spenser in Seal Team whom I thought was going to eventually take over as Bravo One.

Wonder if they can afford a t-shirt the right size for the lead guy this season.

Watched the pilot episode last night. It was quite good on the whole (the fire scenes looked realistic at times), although there does seem to be an obsession with soap opera-style storylines in some television series these days. Did like the choice of filming locations (especially the lake and forests).

Will watch the next few episodes and decide if I want to watch the rest of the first season.

Overall it's a pretty good series, but I really miss Max Thieriot as Clay Spenser (Bravo 6) in SEAL team.
