Quote:
Though haunted by combat memories, heroic pilot Ted Striker (Robert Hays) agrees to return to the cockpit to man the controls of Mayflower One, America's first commercial spacecraft. But, as soon as Mayflower One lifts off, an electrical malfunction sends the ship veering off course. A shaken Striker struggles to guide the shuttle through a treacherous asteroid belt, tame its failing computer systems and stop the disgruntled Joe Seluchi (Sonny Bono) from detonating a deadly bomb on board.

I'm pretty sure I saw this sequel first, and likely more times than the original when I was younger. I seem to remember it being on TV a lot. Hilarious film. If you liked the original, you should definitely enjoy the sequel too.

Plus, let us not forget how sh!tty crapazon's service is when it comes to Kino preorders. It still a wonder which is worse; ordering Criterion from crapazon or preordering Kino from crapazon. Each will take over a month despite having Prime and the chances of getting them in new condition is near to impossible.

There is no indication that it won't have extras. Almost all (if not all) of their 4K releases have some extras, with many have quite a lot of supplements. Most of the complaints you mention can be alleviated buying directly from Kino. They usually offer the lowest day one prices for their releases, ship pre-orders on time, and package well. Maybe stop buying from "crapazon".

Chances are all they give us, if anything, is a commentary track or 2 with trailers. But I like to be wrong. Though, I don't consider commentary tracks (especially ones not involving any of the people who work on the film) or trailers as extras. Only interviews, behind the scenes, deleted/extended scenes, alternate cuts of the film, and the alike, are considered extras.
