Angels & Insects (1995) - Blu-ray Forum

I watched Angels & Insects (1995) in a theatre long ago. It was a very good movie and I'm a little surprised it hasn't received an HD upgrade yet. As far as I can tell, even the DVD has been long out of print.

Therefore, I'm creating this post as a placeholder and hopefully one of the labels should look into acquiring this distribution license, preferably North American format.

I agree. It was even nominated for an Academy Award (I think it was Best Costume Design... but still). I look for it frequently to see if maybe it's been released on blu-ray overseas somewhere... no dice.

Definitely a day 1 purchase for me as well. Criterion, Kino Lorber, MGM -- whatever it takes. The MGM DVD released in the US looks absolutely horrible.
