No point in releasing this unless it's the director's cut

I can see both the theatrical cut and a new version of Albert Pyun's director's cut being included.

Excellent! I love me some JCVD. Let's hope Scream can produce an HD version of the unrated director's cut as well as some new extras with cast and crew.

I'll be picking this up for sure. I've never seen the Director's cut so really hope it's included

So excited about this release. Been hoping Scream would pick this up. As long as we get 2 cuts, a good transfer and a good making of, I'm going to be very happy 😊

This really is a terrific little action thriller. I'm most likely in on this if it has a new remaster and some great special features. It'd be really great to have the "Slinger" version as well. I already own this as a triple disc set with Double Impact and Death Warrant so it'll need those things for me to double dip.

So much nostalgia for this film, I'm not ashamed to say I love it. I'm excited that it's getting some collectors edition love

One of the few JCVD theatrical films I don't like.

It would have to be quite a different edit to change my mind.

Please don't f#ck up the new cover art. I would be quite happy if they actually used the theatrical poster for the slipcover.

More Van Damme from Shout please! I could see titles like Double Impact getting the Shout Select treatment, but Cyborg fits quite nicely in the Scream selection.

Hope it has both cuts in full HD, OG audio lossless, great compression, on a BD50, and tons of special features. Cause the FOX disc is BD25 but still looks great.
There's a release from Germany but the audio's lossy.

I'm not super excited about double dipping on this one. Hopefully they make it worth it.

Normally I wouldn't care to upgrade from the already great looking existing release, but for this one I'll be completely on-board for any special features and even slightly better looking packaging. I grew up watching the VHS about a thousand times and can still watch the movie on a fairly regular basis.

But what if it had the director's cut?

I haven't thought about this film in a long time. My brother and I would watch it all the time from a VHS dub. Never knew about another cut of the film so day one.
