RDR's map was giant. They suggested this should be twice as big if it's true.
They also rumored we might have 3 heroes to work with like GTAV.

I hope the missions are more varied and less point A to B chases.
Also hope the lead will be able to SWIM.

I wish they would just let us play as Jack Marston and pick up where RDR left off. Playing as 3 people in GTA was fun but it's not something I want in other games.

I actually prefer the idea of a prequel with John Marston because he's already had so much stuff filled in about what went down but we still don't actually know anything about the past. So if they could maybe delve into his earlier exploits, that could be really neat, but I don't know if they'll do that.

Either way, I'd love a game as good. R* making a GTA game and wild west style versions would be amazing. Heck, they're the genre kings and branching out and giving us even more fun with different settings like they did with Red Dead Redemption was awesome.

Yes, Blackwater in RDR is more like a small town, though back then, it was a starting point. 5 times the size of that city would be more in depth, as a contrast to the wild outdoors, which is what I'm most looking forward to.

Looking forward to the return of the locomotive train system and the ability to hop onboard while it's moving.

I like that there has been a thread for this game almost every year since 2013

They need to hurry up and release it already.

There's a chance Rockstar could reveal a tidbit of info on RD2 about a week or so just before e3 2016 hits.

Saw the map the other day on neogaf. not getting my hopes up. People can create almost anything with mods and PC's. I'm sure they're "working" on a sequel though.

That's true. We'll find out soon enough but the good news is, Rockstar has reserved a spot at e3 2016 from what I read, which they usually don't do unless there's something big to announce.

GTA 5 map was leaked and everyone called it a fake and it wasn't.

It was fantastic. It was a massive improvement over Red Dead Revolver. The soundtrack was spot on, and the atmosphere of the old west was perfect.

It's one of the few games I would actually buy one of those HD remasters of.

Would be interesting to see if that happens. If it does, would be nice if they include Undead Nightmare too.

The soundtrack is AMAZING! I downloaded it a while back and love listening to it from time to time. There's a pretty cool article floating around about it's inception with the musicians that's really interesting if you like that kinda stuff.

Yep, easily count me in on the remaster which is rumored to be coming at the end of this year.

bought the game of the year edition, played online quite a bit, but only ran 2 story missions.
I tried not too long ago (even before my upgrade to the PS4) and man, was it tough! It looked so grainy and was really clunky to control (at least for me).

i didn't want to play it unless i could get all of the online trophies so i could get the platinum. there was one weekend where they had 3x xp points for online play......between saturday and sunday, i played 18 hours, ran the same hideout over and over and over and over again.

i really liked it but for some reason never played the campaign.

it's on my list to go back to at some point.
