I love the potential setup. You will be impressed.

yeah you can get away with cheaper surrounds...but try not to go too cheap.

(dont forget your hdmi cables from monoprice.com )

Thanks Crack, being the lurker I was, I already got a couple extra HDMI 1.3as from monoprice for $4.60 a piece! Unreal!

Anyway, Since it took a few days for my first post to make it to the baord, I made it on over to Fry's to have a listen to the monitor series. I like both the monitor 70s and the 60s.... the 70s have a tad richer mid range, but im not sure they are worth the extra price. I might end up with the 60s.

I am a tad lost when it comes to what receiver to get. One other questions I DO have, is that when i was sitting in the testing room checking out the speakers for hours (hehe)... the receiver in there was this crazy 2k$ receiver with THX. I had it setup with fronts, center, woofer, and rears, and had it on THX on the receiver... different sounds were coming out of each speaker while watching the movie sample DVD they had. My question is, if I get the 605, which doesn't have THX, will I not be able to have the seperation like that?

Please enlighten me.
