Get Smart(1965 TV Series) - Blu-ray Forum

I would really love for this one to get a blu ray release.

Are there any fans of the original series?

I would buy this in a heartbeat! I remember how excited I was when the Time-Life DVD set was announced.

I just turned 40 but I consider myself one of the youngest Get Smart fans, if not THE youngest. My mom turned me on to it when it premiered on Nick at Night in 1991. They did an all-week marathon called “Maximum Smart” and I was a fan in 5 minutes. Of course, being a fan of Inspector Gadget helped, too.

I think the show is still owned by HBO of all companies so I’m wondering if Time-Life would have to step in again.

I got into this one because one of my older cousins was baby sitting me (and some other family members) and she was a fan of the series and it of course was on TV.

Put me down as someone who would welcome a blu-ray upgrade for Get Smart! One reason is that I seem to have bad luck with the DVD release of season five. I've had individual discs in two separate copies go bad on me over the years. Hopefully three times the charm with my third copy.

Well answer this one for me why can you purchase all of 87 tmnt but can’t stream it but every other tmnt series is available on streaming?

The Syndication Bible is a list of CBS TV shows that local stations can purchase with an indication of whether they are available in HD or SD.

CBS did invest a lot in HDing many of their shows when they were putting them out on dvd so there is quite a lot potentially available.

It is a shame that Get Smart is not one of them. I would have thought it an obvious winner.
