Haven't seen Bumblebee (been meaning to) but I saw the first four Bay movies (Couldn't bring myself to watch The Last Knight after Age of Extinction) and went to see this last night. It's a good time and I can see why people like it more than the Bay movies, because the characters and dialogue aren't crap. Unfortunately, I am a Bay fan so even though I thought the action was good I found it lacking compared to action masterpieces such as Dark of the Moon. Regardless, if this 4K release is good I'll probably pick it when it goes on sale.

I miss Bay visuals which are unbeatable. Judging by the trailers that new movie looks hideous.

Yeah, the movie looks ugly as hell--all shades of murky gray/brown, and whoever this director is just doesn't know how to fill and block a frame the way Bay did. A couple sequences are pretty good, but on the whole just feels anemic. And every time anyone opens their mouth to speak... whew, that dialogue...

There has been a new breakthrough in home video marketing. Instant 4Ks. The discs are on store shelves while they are still making the movie!!

slight change from the original dialogue in Spaceballs, but its funny to me the disc is up the day this officially hits theaters.

Good fun this, the end scene is just stupid tho.
Saw in 3D and it was decent also, the soundtrack was a highlight for sure but thats two big summer moves with funky bunch references lol, we need a third.

I'll buy this simply because it's fan service.

BEAST WARS from the 90's with UNICRON from the 80's.

Saw this at my local Alamo Drafthouse on Thursday and thought it was a ton of fun! I'll definitely pick it up on 4K.

I did not like this film. I thought
[Show spoiler]that the gimping of Unicron was just stupid. He was all powerful and could travel wherever he wanted to but now he can't unless there is a MacGuffin to help him. What? Really? Just so stupid. I don't know how these live action films can screw up Unicron so poorly. We also barely get to see him eat a planet. They have a whole film and episodes of at least one tv series to take from, why gimp him?

The rest of the film wasn't anything to write home about. It felt very generic and safe like they can't try anything new with the material. The action scenes were fine at best. The end scene made me laugh because we all know that will never happen. Decent but hollow effort.

I have to wonder if there's any enthusiasm left for the
[Show spoiler]G.I. Joe franchise
, after Paramount ran in into the ground. Kinda too little too late at this point.

I have seen more than 3 movies and more than 8 bad movies, so
[Show spoiler] I know you tease the big bad and don't kill them off in the first movie in a planned trilogy
