Paramount Home Media Distribution and CBS Home Entertainment will bring to Blu-ray Cheers: The Complete Series. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on April 25.

Studio description: Wander in…pull up a stool… and make yourself at home "where everybody knows your name" with Cheers: The Complete Series, featuring all 270 episodes from 11 seasons plus entertaining featurettes on 33 discs—with vivid picture and sound quality.

Ted Danson stars as Sam Malone, former relief-pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. From snooty, erudite Diane (Shelley Long) to ruthless corporate careerist Rebecca Howe (Kirstie Alley)—Sam remains a (somewhat) calming presence in his beloved establishment.

Buzzing for this, but I am guessing there will be no chance of the original music being intact...

I really hope that they have the original music put back in. A couple of the jokes really fall flat without the original songs.

Seasons 1-7 were fairly well intact. It's only seasons 8-11, which were released after the chop happy CBS/Paramount took over, that suffered. And quite a bit of original music was restored to the streaming versions that had been replaced for the DVDs.

So, hopefully, these are the streaming versions with all the extra original music the DVDs didn't have.

Now, the one thing I have no hope for at all is a full version of the finale.

But hell, I'm just happy to see this coming at all.

Edit: waitaminit.... they photoshopped Diane and Rebecca in the same shot, but no Coach?

Oh my God!!

Finally, the greatest US Sitcom of all time. The HD Masters look glorious for the most part shown here on Ch4, there are SD inserts sprinkled in a few episodes.

I have the Rebecca years on DVD. Hope to pick up the entire series on blu ray.
Hope the picture quality is as great as the episodes on Paramount plus.

Yeeesss, my favourite US sitcom. Been wanting this for years.

Probably not a day one, might wait for a decent pricedrop though.

Enjoyed the clips I've seen, though I'm not sure I've seen full episodes. Like Frasier, these just weren't shows that I probably would have been really into as a kid. Back then I was into the TGIF sitcoms and still enjoy those, along with Married With Children, Martin, etc.

Might be worth keeping an eye out for a discount code with Movie Zyng, they had a 25% when Frasier was released last year.
