I thought the original film was painfully funny this just looks painful. Hopefully Reiner doesn't remake Stand By Me next.

I'll watch this at some point but, yeah, I'm not keen on sequels when everyone's in on the joke so you get comfy cameos from A-listers like Macca and Elton John.

Enjoyed the flick...not as funny or as great as the OG but still plenty to enjoy and I'll definitely pick this up. Hopefully it's brimming with extras and deleted scenes etc.
