She is just awesome. I was fortunate enough to meet her last year and she is even more beautiful in person. One of the sweetest people you could meet too.

Dale Bozzio from the new wave band Missing Persons and she provided vocals on a few Frank Zappa albums in the late-70s/early-80s. I like Lady Gaga but she owes a lot to this woman for biting her style.

Comparing the two album covers show the influence.

Check out offbeat but extremely underrated women from the 70s like Lene Lovich & Nina Hagen too if you haven't. They both are batsh*t crazy and their live performances are so over the top and spectacular.

Joanna Newsom is not only beautiful but one of the best songwriters of all time. She has put out four albums which are each masterpieces.
