Definitely down for the steelbook and mediabook (if there's no text on the front of the steel and no forced subs)

There will be definitly no forced subs and with a 99.9% likehood a removable papersleeve, so the steelbook will be clean - no classification and ads.

If you are from the US can you buy from Germany Amazon.com? With US Gifts cards money? They are the only one with the 4K disc.

If it gets stocked on Amazon, yes. You can buy off any of the Amazon branches using your US login information and payment information. Occasionally discs have a "this can't be shipped to the US" flag on them, but it's rare and will block you from checking out.

we have to be on the lookout for information about the region.

As far as ordering, if you have order from Amazon US is the same thing, it will just take a little longer and shipping could be more expensive because is coming from Europe.

On their site the DVD is listet as Region 2, the Blu-Ray as Region B.

I would guess they will be locked (as most of Koch Media releases).

I have a pre-order in for the mediabook, so when it arrives, I can answer any questions. I figured I'd grab it for the soundtrack, and I'm hoping the commentary is in English. I'm expecting it to be region B only, as I believe the other Koch releases I have are.

Since it's with Matthew Newman I'd presume so.

That's what I was figuring, but since he's English and Refn is Danish, you just never know. Do you know if Refn speaks German?

I have no idea but I'd have thought English were the language they both have in common. Only guessing though!

I think it's a pretty safe bet. I'm assuming the other extras will be in German though. I'm hoping I might get something out of them with my high school German.

Can you let us know how the sound quality is? The PQ quality on the US Blu-ray is excellent but for some reason the sound quality on the English DTS HD audio is not very full and robust, while the Spanish audio sounds much better.
Oh, if you can confirm if the special features are in English and/or have English subs that would be great too. I imagine all the text inside the media book will be in German, but I'm guessing it will at least have nice pictures inside.
