Well? Is there any Blu-rays being hid for this fascinating director? An Orbán Collection perhaps?
![]() I have Taxidermia on HD (and UK DVD) and my DVD copy of Szabadesés (Free Fall) has a MKV (3.3GB) which is HD. Is any of his other DVDs got a MKV? UK has done well with DVDs as we got Hukkle too but there's been nothing else for years. Hopefully some of our Hungarian friends have good news on the Blu-ray front. BTW, you can see (and download) his Final Cut: Ladies and Gentlemen on Vimeo https://vimeo.com/205242711 |

Yes, the UK does very well for older films from Hungary so this benefits people who want them in Hungary too. Which is good for everyone.
That's a pity there's not more celebration of newer Hungarian films. Sounds like there needs to be someone championing the art in Hungary. The EU provides funds for that I believe. Loads of Poland-made new films get attention on UK Blu-ray so there's some hope I suppose. |
