Default Die Hard Collection - Individual Cases?

Can anyone confirm 100% wheter the Die Hard Collection is individual cases or a fold out boxset? It would be greatly appreciated.

This has been asked ad nauseum . . . but it looks like it'll be a Smallville type case.

Smallville type case? I don't have it, so I wouldn't know what it looks like...

It's the same blu plastic case, a little thicker than a DVD case, with two plastic flippers that are like pages. There's the cover art on the inside front, one disc on "page one" of the flipper, one on "page two" one on "page three" and one on the inside back cover of the case. Unlike some of the TV series' on DVD, the discs aren't overlapping one another, so they're easy to get out.

While I'd prefer the individuals, the Fox pricing makes it pretty hard not to just buy the set, and the all-in-one package isn't as horrible to me as the Harry Potter box. Those I got individually for the same price as the box set, and since I don't care about the extras, I don't feel like I'll be missing much. If the Die Hards were 22 bucks a pop I'd probably do it, but at 28 bucks, that's a lot of wasted money for individual cases. If I want them that bad I'll buy some cases and print off some cover art that I'm SURE some kind soul from this site would be willing to scan Plus, with the money I save from buying the box, I'll be picking up the SD unrated cut as well.

OK, that is what I was picturing, thanks!

I think I will buy the individuals though, it's nit-picky I know, but I like all of my movies in individual cases.

...and, for $85, I think they should supply the cases.

I'm going with the collection since it's cheaper, and in the end I love how thin the High Def cases are, so they aren't a space problem unlike DVD's.

I'll pick them up individually...especially when Live Free or Die Hard is going to be an obvious double dip. No rush to see it again anyway

Whoa guy, I think you should cool it there. I don't think he meant it to be a "dick" and he did answer the question as well...

Use the search function . . . it's not that hard. And I did answer the question (but I see you conveniently edited that out of your quote). Personal attacks aren't welcome here, so chill the fu*k out.

And by the way - the blu-ray cases really are not that expensive.

All the studios have downloadable cover art for the cases for retailers which i'm sure you can also get. I ordered a case of blu-ray cases from one of my distributors and they come out to maybe .50 a case - so that might be the better way to go since buying them separately comes out to over $40-$50 extra dollars. But it really is the choice of the owner - it is your money...

No, it's not the same. There's a link in one of these Die Hard threads detailing the Unrated vs. Rated cut scene by scene, and the yippy-ki-yay line is intact, as is much of the R rated dialog. This has also been confirmed in many reviews around the web.

at frys the spiderman trilogy comes in a box.
I almost bought it today but i got hellboy for 9.99.
Then i realized that it was a BOGO title when i was already at home.
DAMMIT.
The place is 50 minutes from my house other wise i would go back.
Oh well, the only other title I wanted was kingdom of heaven and they were all out.

No offense, really, but did you mean to post in this thread? Kinda out of left field

I have the same question, this is really important to me, because if they are cardboard foldouts, I am buying them separately.

as will I, but think of the boost of sales numbers and the loss of money in my pocket.

I'm buying 1-3 separately.

I may buy 4 if I can find it for a decent price.
