This appears to be the same discs as the previous 4K release, which I previously bought when it was on a good sale, so I'm all set.
Of note is that the included discs on that original 4K release and this set Here's what bothers me about this (and it's not the fact that they are reissuing it in a Steelbook)... Here is the image from the listing here on the site. It shows "4K Ultra HD + Blu-Ray + Digital Code". I don't know if that is an official image or if someone took a picture of the previous regular Blu-Ray Steelbook release (which used the same art) and edited the top of the J-card onto it. ![]() The site listing itself also reads "Amazon Exclusive SteelBook / 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital 4K" And Amazon lists it as UHD+BD. Here is my issue. When I see something say some variation of "4K UHD + Blu-Ray," I read that to mean that it includes the film in both formats since that is almost always how it is used. Yes, the included bonus features disc is technically a regular Blu-Ray, but IMO it is misleading to point out both formats for the sake of a bonus disc (at the very least it should say "+ Blu-Ray bonus features" or something akin to that. The regular packaging release only shows "4K Ultra HD + Digital Code", as does the listing here on the site. The Amazon listing is a kinda/sorta misleading, though.... but maybe not quite as bad (but close enough). It doesn't list the formats right under the title of the movie on the top of the page for that item. But lower down where he customer can click between different formats and editions, it does show "4K UHD + blu-ray + digital." This just frustrates me with these studios no longer consistently including regular Blu-Ray versions of the movie with the 4K discs (though still doing so on occasion, especially in limited edition Steelbooks) that they aren't being more careful about this. In the case of this particular movie, I do already have the regular Blu-Ray, so I'm all set in that sense. But there might be a new release or even catalog title that I've never bought on Blu-Ray where it would make a difference to me that they might do the same thing with. This initially caught my attention because since it was being shows as 4K+BD, I was wondering if the movie on regular Blu-Ray was included, and if so, if there would be any difference in the regular Blu-Ray disc in this set than in the prior release. But I have to double check what I was seeing, zoom in on the image on Amazon (also in the OP of this thread) to check the writing on the Blu-Ray disc to see that it is just bonus features, etc. It is bad enough when Steelbooks and so forth come out and we have to question if it is just previous discs repackaged or not, but when we have to double and triple check what formats are even genuinely included (in terms of the full movie in those formats, not just bonus features), it is frustrating. Especially since combo packs were pretty much the standard for 99% of release since the launch of the 4K format up until the last year or two. And in it's not like the average price of new releases has gone down with the removal of regular Blu-Ray discs. On average they are the same, or in some cases more expensive. Sorry, I know I went down a tangent here. I just find it really aggravating. |

For anyone wanting this 4K steelbook at a great price I came across someone on eBay selling it for $7.00 currently. The UPC matches up with the 4K steelbook and the picture shows the 4K steelbook but seller says it's the Blu-ray steelbook. Anyway I bought one so buy at your own risk of course:

It probably is the 4K version. The UPC matches up with the Amazon version. I would roll the dice in case they catch their mistake and raise the price and correct the listing. Hopefully they honor the sale and don't cancel. I have the Zavvi one which is not much different but for $13 and change shipped it's worth the risk.

seller has a picture of the 4K steelbook too... so if they send the blu-ray, you get them to send you a return label...

Yes user above is correct as long as you don't open it if it's not the 4K steelbook you can return it. It even says so in the listing. So far they have not shipped the movie yet.
