The preorder for Wolf Children 4k just went up. The GKIDS post that announced Summer Wars implies that they'll do the whole catalog

Just know, Wolf Children doesn't come out til August. GKIDS did a very early tease and pre-order listing for it.

Just going to share my opinion on the new UHD. Copy/paste from the main thread:

Just finished this up. I'm just gonna skip to it and say this disc really disappointed me. I'm not one of those that crave bright, flashy, colorful visuals to enjoy a UHD but with this I expected more. Everything seems so subdued. Like it was a bad HDR pass a la Free Guy. I know people say I remember this or that from decades old cinema experiences and across multiple formats but this is too recent a film to be as different now than it was when released. I popped in the new blu to do a comparison and it is definitely more appealing but lacks the finesse of the UHD detail handling. The UHD is sharp as a tack despite the foggy contrast and the blu, while more vibrant, appears a bit jaggy during some of the more fast paced scenes. This is going to be a pick your poison type watch and I'm sure some will prefer one over the other but I'm definitely remaining Switzerland in recommendations.
