I noticed this is now showing up on Apple as Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning, as opposed to having Part One. So, I skipped to the opening credits to see if they removed "Part One" and nope, it's still there. So, it'll look less odd on your shelf, but it appears the movie's credits will remain untouched.

Not a 100% sure this is a steelbook just yet but when you type in Mission Impossible Steelbook it pulls it up along with the other steelbooks. Anyways for now here is a Target listing.

How disappointing! Why on earth they wouldn't make it match with the rest of them is beyond my comprehension! Two releases with the same artwork. How stupid would it be if The Final Reckoning matches the rest and this is the only odd man out?

Knowing Paramount, The Final Reckoning steelbook artwork will probably be completely different as well.

My guess is that they might also go with this. If they do, I won't be a fan.

While ugly it does go well with the Dead Reckoning steelbook.

I know this extremely unlikely but has there been any conformation if this is the same disc as previously released? Hoping its a new version that removed the "Part 1" from the film as well. I know its extremely unlikely but would rebuy in a heartbeat if that was removed in the film as well.

Just received my copy US edition. Title only updated on the packaging and printing on the disc. The disc themselves still include the Part One during the opening credits sequence. Missed opportunity for sure, this point I don’t think they are going to bother, especially since it’s not even changed on streaming where it’s much easier for them to implement I suspect.
