Well, didnt see this coming:

• Optional English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing
• Archive audio introduction by Richard O’Brien
• Brand new audio commentary with actresses Patricia Quinn and Nell Campbell

A vastly unrated sequel! While not quite as memorable as Rocky, it's still a fun flick with some great music. I'll probably grab this straight away!

Well, I love it. How can anyone not like the Little Black Dress routine?

I'm going to buy them... both!

As Metallica say, Sad But True (or was that Sad Butt, True)

Really? Wow, that sounds kind of dubious on Arrow's part. I wonder what the story going on here is.

Looking at 'em, I really like both covers. I'm not sure which one I'll be getting.

Surely her agent's fault rather than Arrow's?

I've had this DVD out for about a year now, wanting to watch it, but knowing there would be a blu-ray release the second I did. I'm glad I waited!

Arrow released a previous Fox title, Donnie Darko, first in the UK and then in the US, so that's definitely a possibility here. Of course, that would probably only be after the UK limited editions had sold out (though there will certainly be a UK non-LE edition down the line), so there would be a slight bit of risk involved, if you really wanted the limited edition(s).

Awesome! Been hoping this would get a Blu release for a while and coming from Arrow is the best result you could hope for!

I put the blu-ray of Rocky Horror and a dvd of Shock Treatment into a 2 disc amaray case. To be honest, am happy with that. Is a fun double bill but Shock Treatment is obviously a lesser film. Nice that it is coming to blu-ray format but personally, I'm certainly in no big hurry to upgrade from dvd format.

Arrow has stated that they only have the rights for Region 2 (unlike Donnie Darko), but that doesn't mean another label won't release their own package here in the USA down the road.

It's one of the most bizarre films of the '80s, they were clearly on some heavy psychedelic drugs when they made it. The film also predicts reality tv as well.

Both Amazon and Arrow's UK stores ship to the US so you can order a copy just fine.

I mentioned this in the Arrow thread, I'm not in the US, though I get my stuff delivered there, and Mexican customs can be a pain in the ass to deal with if the item you're bringing in does not have a value in US Dollars...

...And Arrow didn't license Donnie Darko from Fox, so there's even less of a parallel. I guess Scream would be the only likely US possibility for Shock Treatment then.

And the entire conversation was from six months ago, so I'm sure it's been resolved in the interim.

Are Arrow UK releases always Region B locked?

Amazed this is getting a Blu-ray release...very happy!

The Fox DVD release has 2 horrible audio dropouts during the opening number which is inexcusable!

I think Rocky is clearly the better film... but Shock Treatment is probably the better musical.
