Not sure I like the intentionally staccato animation here, similar to the movement in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. For the movie, that animation style did not detract from it at all, but in games (where people obsess over frame counts) it just seems like an odd choice.

Looks really detailed and stylish though, I wonder how long until we see some gameplay footage instead of in-engine cinematics.

Neat and stylish trailer that tells me absolutely nothing about what kind of game it is. Cool that it exists, but at the end of the day I can't be excited for it. So... see ya next year, try telling me something about the game at that point.

They tell you more about it at the link. It's a third-person action adventure game with magic, so...Avowed in the bayou (maybe?).

The article was a nice read. Thanks for posting it. There are some amazing games coming in 2024. More than enough to tide me over till there is more to show.

Looks intentional like in Into the Spiderverse when they animated Miles on twos (12fps and jerky) and as he got more experienced he was at the full 24fps.

Really looking forward to this one. The last couple of glimpses it looked incredibly framey and I couldn’t tell if that was a conscious animation choice or performance issues.

Nice to see there is an option to turn off the stop-motion animation in game. It looks neat but I'd rather see smooth animation.

Multiple sources now stating this will be releasing near the end of April. Makes me think Fable will probably release in the fall or late Summer.
