While one could expect that the prices of BD movies will decrease in the future, I guess the impact of exclusivity won't be immediate. And we won't have (at all, or so frequently) sales like "Buy one, Get One free", or "Buy 2, Get 3", from Amazon, and others.

Were this sales intended exclusively to compete with the rival (now almost desceased) format? Or do you think they will continue to attract people to the new technology?

I hope they keep those sales from time to time. It's a good way to make the BD owners group bigger !!!.
