Yeah, perhaps Arrow and Shameless have done this together as Shameless still have the UK rights. Not unheard of for labels to do a joint thing.

I'm curious as to how this turns out. Shameless said on Facebook a while back that they wanted to up their quality control and boost customer confidence, so who knows, maybe they're turning over a new leaf.

They're both getting it from Le Chat qui Fume who released it on 4K las year:



The main downside of that release (at least for most on here) is the lack of English subs/dub. I don't think it will be a joint venture, but in any case, the encoding won't be the same.

I haven’t had a clue about who they were until I read some of the horror stories after I bought their BD of Footprints, a giallo shot by Vittorio Storaro. I think this one turned out nicely. Release date was I believe in the first half of 2024, so I guess it came out after that statement. They only need to hire good people to take care of the tricky things and everyone’s happy. They’d only need to read the forums here to get all the recommendations they’d need.

Unless they share the encode (Arrow has shared before, although the other way around with a US label).

I'd really want to support Shameless if they released a perfect 4K, just to send the message if nothing else!
