Figured this was coming, but it's nice to get official confirmation all the same. These CineMuseum sets tend to be a bit too extravagant and expensive for me, so I'll settle for WB's inevitable tat-laden UK set (and pray to Pazuzu that the artwork doesn't suck).

I'd want the unaltered theatrical version. OG mono would be nice as well.

Nice to finally get this confirmed. Really hope we get the theatrical cut. I'd prefer getting both cuts but I don't much care for the director's cut so I wouldn't mind it's exclusion

Feeling there's a high chance we'll get the original audio mixes. The original cut tho, kinda doubting. This is something I want to be wrong about.

Love the looks of that box set. But this so far has only been announced in Germany? Will have to wait and see what WB brings us first, before seriously considering importing.

Pretty sure I’ve seen that “levitating Regan, extra contorted” image somewhere before, like on a fan-designed T-shirt or poster or custom cover. I’ve definitely seen that Regan-in-3-panels design on a fan-designed T shirt. I don’t really understand the appeal of this product.

@Kyle15, do you just mean the original color timing, etc.? Or do you think they’re releasing only the godforsaken extended cut?

I mean the extended cut with its stinky teal color-timing, yes. If they go that route I won't be surprised.

Definitely holding on to the 40th anniversary edition until I know whether or not Warners will be offering both cuts on UHD.

I definitely would not buy a UHD of this film if it was just the extended cut or if it was the original cut but used the extra-blue tint in the last half-hour. No way, no how. And if they did that, I definitely wouldn’t expect the original mono sound mix.
